Hapless Harley Owner Smashes Toilet

Have you ever experienced a plumbing emergency, a time when you genuinely had to have a skilled and reliable plumber yesterday if not sooner? What follows is a real story of a man who put himself in just such a situation. The names and location have been altered to protect the hapless, and I've used my imagination to flesh out some of the details, but the essential facts of this story are accurate and unexaggerated.
Santa Barbara resident Chad Miller enjoyed that typically bright and sunny Sunday afternoon on his front lawn , contentedly primping his brand new Harley Davidson XR 1200 Sporster, shining the chrome work to get rid of every single minor smudge or fingerprint. He didn't reply to the admiring feedback of the odd neighbor who happened by, but merely smiled and nodded, trying his best not to let show the pleasure he took in his new sculpture on wheels, resplendent in its mirage orange pearl finish.
Owning a Harley had been a long-held wish of Chad's, but he'd always regarded them to be way beyond his limited means. His wife, Valerie, absolutely considered a Harley Davidson to be out of Chad's price range and, as she never failed to add, he was "just not a Harley Davidson kind of guy," in her estimation . Bruce Willis looked great on a Harley Davidson, Valerie insisted, but Chad never would.
His spouse's lack of faith in his Harley props notwithstanding, Chad quietly put aside a few bucks each and every month until eventually he'd saved up more than he needed for a down payment. He'd plopped it down at the neighborhood Harley Davidson dealership that morning, and after filling out all the paperwork, become the proud owner of a beautiful new hog.
While he continued polishing, Valerie, inside the house, silently nursed her resentment. Then one of Chad's neighbors, Richard Sheckler, who was out for a stroll, came to a halt in front of Chad. "Nice bike," he enthused. Chad stopped polishing, permitted himself a tiny grin and replied, "She's a true beauty, isn't she?" "Sure is," agreed Richard. "Hey, how about firing her up? I'd really like to listen to how she sounds. There's absolutely nothing in the world like the sound of a Harley Davidson engine."
That sounded like a good idea to Chad. He straightened up, and standing next to the motorcycle which was propped up on its center stand, turned the ignition key. The hog responded with its signature low-register Harley rumble. Chad, frankly beaming now, patted the seat of the bike and accidentally hit the gear change pedal with his leg. The bike popped into gear, rocked back on its center stand and, to Chad and Richard's horror, took off across the lawn, through the living room's plate glass window, down the hallway, through the wide open bathroom door, and directly into the toilet, the bowl of which was shattered by the impact of the 573 pound motorcycle.
Chad clearly was now in need of a capable plumber, as well as a number of other professional workmen--including, in all likelihood, a marriage counselor.
As Chad found out, choosing the right plumber for your plumbing needs is an important decision. Feel free to stop by http://plumbers-santa-barbara.com and see our featured plumber in Santa Barbara.
